Jacket Potatoes were meant for the slow cooker! Perfect throughout the year, and can be served with your favourite jacket potato topping!
If you've never cooked a jacket potato in the slow cooker before, you may be slightly surprised that they turn out a little darker than you're used to. Don't panic! This is the Maillard Reaction taking place, which happens when starches are cooked without liquids. It actually makes the potatoes taste awesomely nutty, so trust us when we tell you it's a good thing!
If you're a fan of crispy skins, bake them for 10 minutes before eating.
