If your slow cooker doesn't have a non-stick pot, then grease the inside of the pot with butter.
Crack the eggs into a mug, add a splash of milk, knob of butter, salt and pepper to season and mix well. Place into the middle of the slow cooker.
Empty the can of baked beans into a mug and place into the middle of the slow cooker.
Empty the can of tomatoes into a mug, season well and place into the middle of the slow cooker.
Add the chopped mushrooms to a mug, add a knob of butter, season with salt and pepper and place into the middle of the slow cooker.
Roll the bacon rashers up and place them around the outside of the of the slow cooker.
Place the sausages around the outside of the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8 hours. We get it set up, get ready for bed then turn the slow cooker on just before going to sleep!
Serve with slices of fresh toast.
Notes
Sausages
Use whatever sausages you like, but not chipolatas as they'll cook too quickly and burn.
Bacon
Use good quality bacon that's cut to a reasonable thickness. As above, it'll burn if it's too thin.
Slow Cooker
The bigger the slow cooker you have, the better! We recommend the Morphy Richards 6.5L Sear and Stew slow cooker for this recipe. A slow cooker with a non-stick works best as it'll prevent the sausages and bacon sticking. Butter will suffice otherwise.
