Slow Cooker French Onion Soup

Amazing starter to impress your friends with - tastes just like it does in the ski resorts! Can be easily doubled to make more.

Serves 2

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cooking Time about 6 hours on low


  • 5 medium onions
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 500ml Vegetable / Chicken stock
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • Olive oil


  1. Slice the onions, and fry with the garlic in a little olive oil over a low heat until soft. Prepare the stock and add to the onions. Stir.
  2. Transfer all into the Slow Cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
