Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

An easy-peasy Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff recipe that turns out brilliantly on every attempt!

Serves 4

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cooking Time about 8 hours on low


  • 600g Lean Stewing Beef - Cubed
  • 1 Tin Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 200ml milk
  • Mushrooms - about 2 large handfuls - thickly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tub of Garlic & Herb Soft Cheese (Light or Extra Light are fine)
  • Salt and Pepper to season


  1. As an optional first step, brown the beef in a hot pan.
  2. Put the beef, soup, milk, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce & seasoning into the slow cooker. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 8 hours.
  3. Mix in the cream cheese, replace lid and cook on low for a further 30 minutes. Check the seasoning. Soured Cream can be used for serving.
  4. Serve with pasta.
