This requires a little more work than your average slow cooker receipe, but is more than worth it! Serves: 8 Ingredients
PreparationThe Gammon Pour over enough cold water to cover and cover with the lid. Cook on high for 1 hour and spoon off any scum that forms. Cook for a further 4 to 5 hours. Next, lift the gammon out of the pan and place on an ovenproof dish to rest for 15 minutes. The Glaze Finally.... Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes until the fat turns crispy.
NotesFor the classic British meal, serve with chunky chips and an egg. :-)
