Recipe by Print

This Slow Cooker Irish Coffee takes the most famous coffee cocktail, and adds a slow cooker twist. Originally conceived in Limerick, Ireland, we think this recipe pays great respect to Joe Sheridan's original recipe.

Serves 5
Difficulty Easy
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cooking Time about 1 hour on low

Ingredients

  • 1 litre medium roast coffee
  • 5 shots Irish Whiskey (more or less to taste)
  • 5 tsp sugar
  • Whipped cream, to serve

Method

  1. Add the coffee to the slow cooker along with the sugar. Cover and cook on low for an hour.
  2. Add the Whiskey to the slow cooker, and serve immediately, with whipped cream on top. The coffee can be kept in the slow cooker for another hour to keep warm.
