Slow Cooker Rice Pudding

This Slow Cooker Rice Pudding recipe is for a 4.5l slow cooker and serves eight, it can be easily halved if you have a smaller one!

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cooking Time about 3 hours on low

Ingredients

  • 150g pudding rice
  • 40g butter (diced if really chilled)
  • 150g sugar
  • 1.5l milk
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Method

  1. Butter the inside of the slow cooker, then throw in (not literally!) everything except the nugmeg. Give it a good mix, and cook on low for 3 - 4 hours.
  2. Garnish with a pinch of nutmeg.

    Just eaten a bowl full.....absolutely delicious. But 4 hours wasn't nearly long enough, mine was put on 9am in morning and was eating bowl full 7pm but not sure what time was actually ready lol
