Slow Cooked Beef Stroganoff

Easy, Creamy and Amazing
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 600g Lean Stewing Beef - Cubed
- 1 Tin Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 200ml Milk Mushrooms - about 2 large handfuls - thickly sliced
- 2 Medium Onions - Sliced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- Seasoning
- 1 Tub of Garlic & Herb Soft Cheese (Light and Extra Light is fine - I have tried and tested)
Preparation
In the slow cooker put the Beef, Soup, Milk, Mushrooms, Worc Sauce & Seasoning - Stir and cook on low for 8 hours.
Mix in the cream cheese, replace lid and cook on low for a further 30 minutes. Soured Cream can be used for serving.
Notes
Goes great with Rice or Pasta and a green salad. I have not tried this with any other meat, but, one of my friends has done it with Pork instead of Beef and says it works just as well. This is a great comfort food for the famiily, but can also be dressed up for a dinner party.
