Hearty Beef Stew
( 147 Votes )This hearty beef stew will put some meat on your bones! The teriyaki sauce addes a nice zest to the flavour of the stew. The meat will come out amazingly tender and melt in your mouth!
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 455g cubed beef braising beef
- 7g paprika
- 475 ml beef stock
- 20 ml teriyaki sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 225g mushrooms, quartered
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Place beef stew meat into a slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix together flour, paprika, salt, and pepper; sprinkle over beef stew meat, stirring to coat. Stir in beef broth, teriyaki sauce, onion, carrots, celery, potatoes, mushrooms, garlic and bay leaf.
Cover, and cook on Low for 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
