| Awesome Chili Con Carne |

This is my adapation of a normal chili receipe that seems to work really well in a slow cooker, this is by far and away my favourite recipe I've discovered so far! Serves: 4
Ingredients
PreparationFry the onions, garlic and green pepper in a pan until soft, then Add the minced beef and fry until lightly browned. Blend together the chili powder, flour, brown sugar, and tomato puree to make a paste. Stir the paste, canned and fresh tomatoes, thyme and seasoning into the pan. Stick all the ingredients into the slow cooker and cook for 3 - 7 hours dependant on heat setting. One hour before serving add the kidney beans. Mix the chopped chives into the soured cream to give to the panzies that don't enjoy a hot chili! :-)
NotesServe with rice, jacket potatoes or tortilla chips (my favourite!).
