I am a slow cooker virgin I have a recipe book which includes things like sponge pudding & terrine, which advise the ingredients shoud be placed in the slow cooker in ovenproof basin or loaf dish. I am guessing they mean pyrex type, but have some silicone bakeware. Does anyone know if this would be safe to use in the slow cooker.
